Better Board Meetings

Board meetings can be a powerful forum for advancing the organization’s mission and discerning priorities in allocating resources.
- Discuss the purpose and use of a consent agenda to make meetings more strategic.
- Get tips to structure your Board meetings so they become more efficient.
- Learn techniques to engage people in advancing the mission.
The session is led by Melanie Schmidt, who brings nearly 20 years experience helping organizations improve their people and processes for greater efficiency and effectiveness. She’s helped a variety of nonprofits improve participation at Board meetings by helping them to refocus and recharge.
