Practical Guide to Google Analytics

It’s difficult to know what’s working and what’s not without some kind of measuring stick. Google Analytics is a free yardstick for your website. In this session we will take a brief tour of the Google Analytics interface and then discuss how to track the success of specific goals using landing pages and link tags in marketing campaigns, regardless of the medium (email, print, etc).
Tim Nott has been a web consultant for over a decade, contributing to local websites such as thedailypage.com, madison.com and mscr.org. After completing the spring 2011 TechStars program as a member of the studentspill.com team, he started a freelance consulting business, Enactory.com.
